I am so thankful for all the kind wishes, love and support from everyone over the last week! I’ve received an overwhelming amount of calls, texts and messages congratulating us on our pregnancy announcement! Not only that, but over the weekend the hubby and I celebrated our 6 Year Wedding Anniversary! These past 6 Years have been nothing short of amazing and I can’t wait to see what the rest of our lives have in store!

I also wanted to show you the outfit I wore for our anniversary and felt it was perfect for the occasion. How girly and fun are the ruffles on this dress? I’m trying to soak in the last few days of the warm weather before fall is upon us and then we’ll all be wearing sweaters and leggings!

The holidays are my favorite time of the year. Not only is December my birthday month but it also means endless spending quality time with your loved ones, holiday parties and eating all your favorite yummy holiday foods.

With the holidays, it also means the chance of dressing up in your best! There are days which I do like to be casual and then this time of year especially I love being able to wear anything metallic, sequin, and glitter! There’s just something about getting all dressed up for the holidays that I love. I am currently obsessing over this silver metallic dress that is soo chic and stylish. I love the midi length of the dress and how it drapes. You can also pair this dress with tights and booties.

Happy Wednesday!

I’m so excited that the weather is starting to warm up and I’ve been able to wear dresses again! This gorgeous dress from LOFT has a pretty floral pattern and is flowy (it's sooo comfortable!).  The dress fits pretty loosely (I'm wearing an extra-small here) so I threw on a denim jacket to complete the look!

When I saw this dress in the JCrew window in Philadelphia I knew I had to have it. This JCrew vintage scarf dress is the perfect transition dress from summer to fall.  The dress feels so light and I love the fact that the material is silk.  I paired the dress with a denim jacket from H&M over my shoulder just in case I got a little chilly. To round off the look, I threw on a pair of nude colored heels.

I am very happy to say that my website has been up and running for a year. This year has been filled with many new experiences and lots of learning! None of this would have been possible without any of my readers and I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to you all! Since New Years is only hours away and many of us probably still don't know what to wear tonight, there is still time to find that perfect outfit to bring in the New Year! Here are a couple of tips and top fashion trends for New Years:

A faux fur vest (gilet) has been very popular for the winter.  It is SUCH a statement piece and is so versatile.  It is also very animal friendly as it is not real fur.  Throw a faux fur vest over a blouse paired with black skinny jeans or over a dress to make a statement!  Don't be afraid to experiment with textures and styles.
